Baptism Services
In the Methodist Church we baptise both children and adults. As Methodists, we believe baptism marks the beginning of an ongoing journey with God. When someone is baptised, they are received into God’s church – God’s family. In baptism we respond to, and celebrate, God’s unconditional love – a forgiving and renewing love for all people. Baptisms always takes place on Sunday mornings, as part of a normal act of worship. Getting married at MHMC
At Muswell Hill, we cater for mixed-sex and same-sex couples, providing a full legal wedding which honours your relationship in the sight of God. Whether you’re a mixed-sex couple or a same-sex couple, we would love to be able to conduct your wedding at Muswell Hill Methodist Church, and we hope to be able to provide you with a wonderful marriage ceremony.

Funerals
When someone dies there can be many emotions we feel – which can depend on our own characters and personality, and the nature of the death of our loved one. Every person is a unique individual, and we believe that funerals should hold within them that uniqueness, Giving thanks to God for the lives of our loved ones, and holding one another in grief. A funeral led by our minister, either at Muswell Hill or at a crematorium, would include prayers, scripture readings and an address.

Men’s Breakfast
Come along on the last Sunday of the month at 8.30am for fellowship, conversation and an English Breakfast – vegetarian options available (suggested donation £4.50). We clear-up in time for the morning service! Please book a place using the sign-up form below.
