At Muswell Hill, we cater for mixed-sex and same-sex couples, providing a full legal wedding which honours your relationship in the sight of God.
Whether you’re a mixed-sex couple or a same-sex couple, we would love to be able to conduct your wedding at Muswell Hill Methodist Church, and we hope to be able to provide you with a wonderful marriage ceremony.

In 2025, Muswell Hill Methodist Church joined with other Methodist Churches across Britain in registering to perform same-sex marriages, following the national decision of the Methodist Church so to do.
Does the church do wedding blessings?
We also welcome all couples who have been married or have had a civil partnership and would like to receive a blessing.
How do we book?
Please complete the form below. It is best to contact the minister of the church as soon as possible. Muswell Hill is a busy church, so the earlier you contact us the more likely that the church will be available. If you would like to view the church before making a decision, a Sunday visit is usually best, as you are able to see both church in a more natural environment!
What about preparation?
The church believes it is important that all couples contemplating marriage or civil partnership take time to prepare thoroughly for the commitments they are going to make. Arrangement of a wedding normally involves 4 meetings with the minister, with the final one being the wedding rehearsal.

What will it cost?
The minister will discuss this with you. The charge covers the fee for the minister, the organist, sound & video operator and church use. An additional charge will apply for use of other rooms in the building for a reception. Please note that alcohol is not permitted in the building or grounds.
