Apologies, but due to the new Covid restrictions, all services on the premises will cease whilst we are in Tier4. So this event has been cancelled.
You are invited to Carols in the Gardens on Sunday 20th December from 3.30-4.15pm, weather and covid restrictions permitting! Join us to remember again the story of Jesus’ birth and sing familiar carols as the light fades. The event will be live-streamed to the Muswell Hill Methodist Church YouTube channel, so please join us there if you prefer. The order of service (including words for the carols) is available here for you to print in advance or follow during the event o your mobile. Gates will open at 3.15 to allow you to find a socially-distanced space on the lawns where you can see and hear the musicians and singers who will be just inside the Garden Room. We expect to be able to accommodate everyone, however we will limit numbers if we feel that social distancing rules are at risk of being compromised. Please read and take note of these rules for attendees: Please do not attend if you have any Covid symptoms. Please bring at least one torch per household. With the recent rain the grounds are very wet, so please wear wellies! Please stay in your household group and socially-distanced from other groups during the event. Please note that young children must stay with their group – it will not be possible for them to run around. Everyone must wear a mask as you are arriving, entering and leaving the grounds, and whilst greeting friends in the grounds. You may remove your mask to sing along to the carols as long as you are sufficiently distanced from others visitors. The toilets inside the building will not be available. Please wear warm clothes, hat, scarf & gloves as you will be standing outside for the duration. Please follow the stewards directions at all times so that everyone remains safe. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 20th, whether in the Gardens or by following us live on YouTube! And please bring some loose cash for our Christmas Appeal – there will be a collection basket on your way out – thank you.
