Music in the Gardens Quiz 2023
Music in the Gardens takes place every Sunday in July at Muswell Hill Methodist Church. To keep you entertained before the music starts, or between songs, try our music quiz.

There are 3 rounds and for each round you need to work out the song title that the clue refers to:
- Round 1 – In it together (songs by groups)
- Round 2 – All by myself (songs by solo artists)
- Round 3 – Faith and love (hymns & hits from musicals & films)

IN IT TOGETHER
1. TSATF – A 1965 creepy-crawly track by one of England’s greatest ever rock bands.
2. NGUOTGT – Coriander, cumin or saffron … whatever your flavour, this hit has a feel-good message for us all.
3. HOTT – WhatsApp? Pah! In the 70s it was all about the landline for these punk-rockers.
4. AOBTD – One of the most memorable bass riffs in music opens this 1980 classic.
5. ISHFWILF – A Gospel-inspired track that reached No6 in the UK charts in 1987. You may like it too.
6. RTW – Recorded for the Stardust soundtrack, a mega hit that proved this boy band were back (for good).

4. SGOS – Music to the ears of teenagers.
5. ATBAB – Think about this one while enjoying the pleasant summer sun.
6. AWM – Earth’s shadows flee for anyone listening to this one.
7. NDIB – … than Carly Simon.
8. WBMW – One of the most-played songs at British funerals. Simply heroic.
9. YNWA – The anthem of Dutch team FC Twente – and a couple of other clubs closer to home.
10. AG – An 18th-century song of forgiveness that’s sung in churches an estimated 10 million times each year.
